The purpose behind the exhibit “DPI,” which stands for digitally propelled ideas, is to provide a venue and bring together artists who have been actively involved in using computer technology to create works of art. We understand how digital technology has opened opportunities for research and experimentation in a number of the art and design related disciplines and our goal is to bring together the most eclectic experience possible. The exhibit will include work from the following disciplines: fine art, graphic design, illustration, photography and video.
JUROR: Elliott Earls was recently chosen “the hottest designer in America” by Blueprint magazine He is the head of Cranbrook’s graphic design department and considered a “beloved hero” and “star” in the world of art-school designers.
